Upper Bay Sailing School Launches New Docking Instruction

Worton, MD (PRWeb) February 2, 2007 -- Upper Bay Sailing School (http://www.upperbaysailing.com) announces the opening of its new Docking Bootcamp sailing lessons from its Chesapeake Bay sailing base at Green Point Marina in Worton, MD. Docking Bootcamp will be an all day class focusing solely on the techniques, skills and theory of docking. "For most people, docking is the toughest maneuver of the day. This class will provide the techniques and knowledge necessary to get a boat on and off the dock confidently," commented David Bello, President of Upper Bay Sailing School. "This class will benefit both sailors and power boaters alike," he continued.

Upper Bay's Docking Bootcamp will be run from 9-4 on Saturdays and will include instruction on docking theory, practices and techniques. "The class will spend 5-6 hours just pulling boats on and off the dock -- students are likely to get a season's worth of docking practice in one day," said Bello. The Docking Bootcamp lessons will be taught in addition to Upper Bay's ASA Certification curriculum. Upper Bay Sailing School currently offers its ASA sailing lessons from beginning through advanced, including navigation and ocean passage making.
