What A Boating Charter Is All About
A boating charter is more about enjoying life than making it more difficult. You can spend your day cleaning maintaining and updating your own boat but essentially that boat has a purpose, and that is to bring pleasure into your life. So use someone else?s boating charter to get a taste of what this sport can give you.
A Day on the Ocean with a Boating Charter.
What a wonderful day out we had one Easter when we decided to go on a cruise around Moreton Bay in Queensland. The girls were not too old, 15 and 11 so they really enjoyed it.
One of the most memorable things about the whole trip was the net that they threw out of the back of the launch for the kids to play in. They could actually sit in this large net while the boat was moving and get pulled along in it. Many of the parents decided to have a go too, including myself, well after a glass of wine, I am game for things like that!
The boating charter started out by cruising around the harbor and then out to an island. The lunch we had was absolutely beautiful and there was wine and beer all on ice. There were only about 16 of us that chartered this boat and that is what made it very special, just a small bunch of locals all out to have a bit of fun, sea and fresh air.
When we reached the island, they dropped the anchor and we were able to swim or get taken to the island so that we could walk around. While we were there, some decided to do a bit of snorkeling, some did some sunbathing but all in all it was one of the most relaxing days I can ever remember having.
On the way back, the sun was starting to go down on a day that had been full of fun and memories but the very best part for me was that net. Our youngest daughter really liked that net and stayed in it for most of the time going back. She spent most of the time going on the outward journey, plucking up the courage to try it! I can highly recommend a boating charter to anyone who just feels like getting dragged along in a cool ocean with no care in the world! Bliss.
